Introduction
This course uses generative artificial intelligence to help students complete onboarding for jobs, complete mock internships, and/or complete mock jobs.
Note: In the A.I. script the student will notice that there words between double brackets, e.g., {{passion1}}. They should replace the bracketed word with their actual information to receive personalized responses and to progress effectively.

Career Training & Advancement
This course allows students to mimic real work. The A.I. takes on the role of the supervisor. The title and employer can be customized to the student’s preferences. The A.I. will then give assignments, approve timesheets, answer questions, and grade submitted work. On the flip side, the student can submit timesheets, assignments, and questions. If candidates are not clear on how to prepare application materials and interview for a job, they are encouraged to take the career preparation course first.
Objectives
1. Provide a mock internship or job to provide a risk-free environment for experimenting with a specific job
2. Build critical thinking skills
3. Build communication skills
4. Learn how to navigate different workplace environments
5. Learn the basic technology tools necessary for completing common work tasks
6. Learn the common collaboration tools for completing group work tasks
7. Learn how to the time-management skills necessary to complete multi-week projects
8. Learn how to write a professional email
9. Learn how to create a professional proposal
10. Identify and understand metrics for success that will be used in performance evaluations
11. Complete a performance evaluation
12. Increase motivation to learn and follow through with schools / tasks
